I would like to start by giving you some history with my weight and weight loss journeys. I started putting on weight when I was about 8 years old. I was always the chubby kid, always had to get the bigger sizes. I was quite reclusive only really socialising at school so my weight never really bothered me. This was until we moved to an area called Portsea. This is when I started to make friends outside of school. Suddenly my weight now really mattered. I started to get really down about my size but this only made me eat more, so I got bigger which just made me more sad. I was stuck in a cycle. At 12 I left my mothers house & moved into my dads place. My dad was very overweight himself and didn't know anything about healthy eating. We often would eat whole cheesecakes, multi pack crisps in one sitting, sharing bars of chocolate to ourselves. I was soon very overweight at 13 years old I know weighed 12 stone. This is when I first lost weight unfortunately it wasn't in a healthy way.
I was 13, I was kicked out by my mum and didn't really speak to her anymore so I rebelled. I would drink most days, I smoked pot everyday & often took speed and cocaine at the weekends. All this meant I never really ate and when my dad cooked for me I always gave most of it to my then boyfriend Dean. I soon started to drop the weight & went down to 9 stone. I was really happy with my new weight loss but know when I look back I can see I looked ill . At 16 my boyfriend Dean ended up beating me & I fell out with my best friend at the time. This distanced me from the crowd I was in then and I cut back on the drink and gained a bit of weight and got to 10 1/2 stone. I was finally happy again and healthy too.
In 2009 I moved to Lincoln and started University. At this stage I was hovering between 11-12 stone but I was happy with that. This is when I met my partner Karl. I decided to stay in Lincoln with him after University. In 2013 at 13 stone I fell pregnant with our first child Elsie- May I put on 2 stone during my pregnancy. I suffered with postnatal depression with Elsie and in November 2015 I got on scales and was my heaviest at 16.5 stone. This is when I started Juice plus and by Summer 2016 I was down to 13 stone again. Between then and Summer 2017 I had gained another 2 stone. This is when my dead died so I turned to food again, then last year 2018 I had our second daughter Rosa-Lea so now I am back at my heaviest at 16.8 stone (as of 4/1/19).
I know how to lose weight & I know how to lose it healthily but my struggle is a mental one to do it & stick to it. So I have started dieting again from the 4/1/19 and today 10/1/19 I weight 16 stone exact.
I will be posting each Monday to let you know how much weight I've lost and how the week has been for me, the struggles, the cheats etc. My goal is to be between 10-11 stone by the end of the year,
