I started working straight from School in 2007. It was a zero hour telesales job. I hated it having to phone people and getting shouted out and having to hit certain targets. since that job all my jobs have been in telesales. Window & doors, Vacuum servicing & PPI claims. Non of them have been fulfilling.
I have been working for myself now on & off since 2009. I first started with Avon, then betterware, then our leaflet business. along side our leaflet business I have also been involved in some network marketing companies Nuskin, Fm cosmetics, Juice plus & now Acti-Labs. I love working for myself & could now never go back to working for someone else.
When you work for someone else you earnings are capped to what they think your worth. This basically means your working so they can buy there house, that new car & go on holiday while your just about getting by. You need to work extremely hard to get promoted often having to be with the company for years & there is usually little reward, You only get 4 weeks holiday a year, if you want anymore time of you don't get paid for it. Most school plays & sports days you need to miss due to working. Then there is the child care which you end up working just to pay for.
When you work for yourself you are totally in control of how much you earn & you work to buy your house, your new car & for you to go on holiday. With a traditional business you are already at the top. With network marketing promotions are very achievable even if you have only been in business a few weeks. You can go on holiday when ever you want for however long you want & you get paid for it. I haven't had to miss any of Elsie's school or nursery dates or work on her birthday. I was able to spend everyday with her until she went to nursery & still earn an income.
So after all these years I just couldn't go back to working for someone else. Working for yourself is hard & isn't always perfect but I do believe its better.
